Confirmation of oleh rights on a motor vehicle
1. The oleh must present two valid driving licenses: from his last country of residence and Israel, or an Israeli driving license received in exchange for a foreign license.
2. The exemption will not be granted on the basis of a foreign license issued abroad after the entry of the oleh to Israel.
3. An international driver's license will be recognized as a foreign driving license only if issued in the last country of residence of the entitled person.
4. An oleh who cleared a motorcycle through Customs with his rights may clear a vehicle upon paying reduced duties, if he continues to be within his rights period, after paying the remaining customs duties and taxes owed for the motorcycle.

Importing a Car
In order to import a car (or motorcycle) you will need a clean title (no liens) on the vehicle and the title must be in the Oleh’s name. You will also need:
1. Your Israeli Driver’s License,
2. A letter from Ministry of Transport approving personal import for the specific vehicle,
3. A letter from the vehicle’s authorized importer stating they are willing to supply parts for the vehicle (you are not required to order parts through them).
4. Your driver’s license from overseas.
